Finding diet plans that work for you is a challenge. Everyone is different when it comes to diets, we all have different metabolisms and body characteristics. So we've tried to present different diet plan reviews and information to help you find the diets that work for you. There are many diet plans that work for some people and not for others due to individual conditions.

If you're looking for a good way to start losing some weight, or even a lot of weight, there are many possible diet plans. Let me say right off the get go that I am no expert in nutrition, exercise, or diets in general. However, I do have one claim to fame, I've lost weight over the past year and kept it off.

I personally tried many of the diet plans that are reviewed in this website. Whenever possible our diet plan reviews include include actual results, good points, and bad points of each diet plan. Diet plans that work are easy to come by but there are always some pros and cons that may have a medical or other issues for some individuals.

The trick to any diet is finding which diets that work for you. Based on your needs, physical condition, how much weight you want (or need) to lose, and even your lifestyle. So you may have to try more than one diet plan for good results. So the best diet plans are the diet plans that work for you!

Healthy Diet Plan

One thing that you always want to do regardless of what diet plan you chose is to make sure it is a healthy diet plan. Some rapid weight loss diets can be harmful to your health and even be dangerous depending on your current health. If you have any kind of medical issue or are taking any type of special medication, always check with your doctor before starting any diet. Any kind of diet supplement or radical weight loss methods can impact even a healthy person. A healthy diet plan does not go below 1200 calories per day, require drugs, or diet supplements not approved by your doctor!

Diet Plans That Work

Sure, there are some diet basics that can be effective no matter who you are or what your goals. Any of the diet plans that work have some common elements. Lower your caloric intake and increase your calorie burn rate with some form of exercise. Very basic strategy but also very difficult to sustain over a long period. And many people need diets that work for them to kick start their weight loss.

One area often overlooked by many people looking for diet plans that work and improving overall health is attitude. Like anything worth achieving, you need to motivate yourself and have realistic goals. Quick fixes may work but are difficult, if not impossible, to maintain over a long period of time.

We are all individuals with different goals, body type, living style, etc. I wanted to drop about 30 pounds I had gained over the past few years. I knew I needed both an attitude adjustment and develop some healthier eating habits on any diet plans that work. So any diets that work I chose also had to include long term healthy eating habits that I could sustain for a long term result.

I had gained the weight at the rate of about 3-5 pounds a year for the past few years. Part of it was eating too much and probably part due to the fact that I also like a glass of wine (or two) with dinner. Then add to the mix of sitting at a desk all day and not exercising much and it was the perfect scenario for weight gain.

I've learned a lot over the past year, in my search for a way to lose some weight and get into better physical shape. I have a book shelf full of different diet plan books that I've read and tried. I am also a skeptic at heart and until I saw personal results, I didn't believe anything I read or tried. Diet reviews are much more valid when the reviewer has actually tried the diet.

I thought I would share some of my experiences with diets that work and offer some helpful advice. Like I said before, I'm no expert but I've tried a lot of different diets and can give some good feedback on what worked and what didn't. And the diet plans that work to lose weight may also have some important issues depending on your individual condition. So it's a good thing to find out any problems of a diet plan before you commit a lot of time and effort.
